Early predictions for the 2011 Vikings season:

OK. So the NFL's schedule for next season just came out. Allow me just a little bit of your time to go through the schedule to prognosticate how the Vikings will do this upcoming year...

What I'll do is I will post what week it is, then post who the Vikings are playing... and then tell you if it'll be a win or a loss. It sounds amazingly simple... and probably so simple that I didn't need to write about it. But nonetheless.

Week 1: At San Diego--CANCELED DUE TO LOCKOUT
Week 2: Tampa Bay--CANCELED DUE TO LOCKOUT
Week 3: Detroit--CANCELED DUE TO LOCKOUT
Week 4: At Kansas City--CANCELED DUE TO LOCKOUT
Week 5: Arizona--CANCELED DUE TO LOCKOUT
Week 6: At Chicago--CANCELED DUE TO LOCKOUT
Week 7: Green Bay--CANCELED DUE TO LOCKOUT
Week 8: At Carolina--CANCELED DUE TO LOCKOUT
Week 9: BYE
Week 10: At Green Bay--CANCELED DUE TO LOCKOUT
Week 11: Oakland--CANCELED DUE TO LOCKOUT
Week 12: At Atlanta--CANCELED DUE TO LOCKOUT
Week 13: Denver--CANCELED DUE TO LOCKOUT
Week 14: At Detroit--CANCELED DUE TO LOCKOUT
Week 15: New Orleans--CANCELED DUE TO LOCKOUT
Week 16: At Washington--CANCELED DUE TO LOCKOUT
Week 17: Chicago--WIN!!!

So... to recap:

Final projected 2011 record for the Minnesota Vikings: 1-0.

Which would put them in the playoffs, and... depending on the tiebreakers, could possibly give them home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

So really, right now... the season's looking pretty good from my vantage point.
